Tuesday, May 15th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contracts open at $2.860, nearly two cents above Monday's closing price of $2.842. With little change to market fundamentals as above-average temperatures are expected for much of the country into June, the contract remained relatively unchanged on the day. Reaching the intraday high of $2.864 as markets opened, prices plodded gradually lower into the afternoon. Marking the intraday low of $2.824 ahead of 2:30PM, June closed slightly lower on Tuesday at $2.836.

This morning in Globex, WTI Crude was down 33 cents; Natural Gas was unchanged; Heating Oil was down one cent; and, Gasoline was down one cent.
