Sprint Extends Support for Customers Impacted by Northern California Wildfires

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - October 12, 2017 - As wildfires continue to rage in Northern California,Sprint has extended its waived text, call and data overage fees for Sprint, Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile customers in affected areas through October 15, 2017.

Customers on Unlimited plans will continue to enjoy their unlimited data, call and text benefits.

Sprint crews have brought many inoperable cell sites back online, however a number of sites are still inaccessible and cannot be serviced until evacuation orders are lifted. A Cell on Wheels (COW) has been deployed in Santa Rosa, CA to temporarily enhance service to the area.
