Stockmann and Euronics start co-operation in Tallinn and Riga

According to its new strategy, Stockmann will enhance customer experience by complementing the offering with attractive goods and services from tenants. In order to implement this strategy, Stockmann has signed agreements on leasing retail space from its department stores in Tallinn and Riga for Euronics, the market leader in retail consumer electronics in Europe and the Baltics. Euronics will open stores in Stockmann department stores in Tallinn and Riga in September 2015.

"We want to enlarge our offering and continue inspiring customers. By now we haven't sold electronics or bigger household appliances in our Baltic stores. As of September 2015, a new product category will be introduced in cooperation with Euronics both in Tallinn and Riga", says Lauri Veijalainen, Deputy Real Estate Director and Development Director for International Operations at Stockmann.

"We are very excited to bring our wide selection of products to the most prestigious department stores in downtown Tallinn and Riga. In these new stores our customers can try, compare and purchase the latest IT-products and tablets, smartphones, AV-products, TVs as well as large home appliances in addition to the existing lineup", says Urmas Arula, the development director of Euronics.

Euronics is Europe's largest buying group for consumer electronics and second largest consumer electronics retailer. Euronics currently operates more than 11 000 stores in 31 countries in Europe.
