The best breaks are the ones where you only head back to the hotel to sleep. You're up all hours dancing away, sampling the cocktail menu and looking boss at the same time.

If you're planning on living between the beach and the bar - our guide featuring beach outfits that look incred for the night as well as the day, will see you through.

What to wear to the beach

  • Swimwear -Bikini or full costume, the choice is yours.
  • Cover up - You'll want something to throw on when you want to go grab a drink or take a break from the sun. Choose a cutemaxi dress, a sarong or an oversized t-shirt.
  • Sandals - Strappy sandals work for beach and bar.
  • Sunglasses -Protect your eyes and look good too.
  • Oversized hat -Keep your head shielded and your face shaded with a wide brimmed hat orbaseball cap.

You'll want a bag that you can squeeze another outfit in for later. A smaller sized leather rucksack or a larger across body bag are good calls.

What you need to take your beach look from day to night

  1. Baby wipes - Give your face and skin a wipe down to remove any excess sun cream.
  2. Deodorant -Spruce up before you head out.
  3. Top-up makeup -You won't need your whole make up bag. Brush on some bronzer to enhance your glow from a day in the sun. Add highlighter, lip balm and perfect your eye makeup.
  4. Salt spray -Keep things natural and scrunch your hair for the perfect tousled look.
  5. Lightweight outfit - Whether you're swapping your sundress for a bodycon or pulling on leather look shorts and a cropped top - pack something lightweight to wear in the evening.
