Not jumping on a plane? It's cool. There's still plenty of places to head to, right here in the UK.

The best location in the UK for a night out

London

Obviously London had to make the list. It's the powerhouse of partying. Here's the plan for two nights of fun on your summer break in 2018:

Friday night

Rock up on the train after work and head to your hotel/Airbnb. Choose somewhere central - you could stick close to Kings Cross or head to London Bridge or Covent Garden.

Get down to Shoreditch and walk around the corner from the tube toDinerama- an installation made up of shipping containers featuring bars, street food and shops that gets busy every weekend. Dig into massive burgers and freshly cooked pizzas or vegan and veggie options - before sampling the slushy vodka cocktails or Tiki themed drinks upstairs.

Saturday day

We recommend starting off atBunga Bunga Covent Garden. Unlimited prosecco and bellinis within two hours? Sign us up.

Once you've had your fill, head to Hyde Park and grab some lunch on the way. If it's a nice day, hire a bike and take a ride round before chilling out on the grass and soaking up the sunshine.

Saturday night

As the evening rolls around get back to the hotel to change. Hop on the tube down to Bounce in Shoreditch for a few games of ping pong, food and some drinks. You'llneed to book ahead. Once you're done get out on a bar crawl around the area - Trapeze bar, XOYO and Trafik are worth a mention.

The best destination for beaches in the UK

Cornwall

Don't fancy missing the sun, sea and sand? Opt for the South Coast instead of hopping on a plane. You might even - so pack yourswimwear. We recommend booking a week out of your diary to check this place out.
