Superdry : partners with Graduate Fashion Week

Superdry is excited to announce its partnership with Graduate Fashion Week 2018. We're proud to be sponsoring a new award - the Superdry Outerwear Award - which gives students the chance to win £1,000 for themselves and £500 for their university. This year, the event will be held at the Truman Brewery in London from 3-6^th June.

Graduate Fashion Week showcases the work of over 1,000 talented students and graduates from the most prestigious and inspiring fashion universities around the world, representing the future of creative design talent. It attracts around 30,000 guests every year and features 25 catwalk shows and exhibitions from over 40 universities. During the week there will be catwalks showcasing students' designs, live talks and workshops from leading names in the fashion industry, and a Gala Award Show on the final night.

Superdry Head of Womenswear Design, Siri MacDonald, will be running a seminar on Sunday 3^rd at 3pm. She will have an exclusive interview with renowned fashion journalist Hilary Alexander (OBE) and will be covering the hottest topics in the fashion industry.

Superdry has a long history with Graduate Fashion Week - our Head of Womenswear Design (Siri MacDonald) and Head of Menswear Design (Dan Hanvey) are both former alumni. Both Dan and Siri have been reviewing all of the entries to our Superdry Outerwear Award. We had an amazing response, with over 40 applicants hoping to win the prize.

'It's been a huge pleasure to able to see all the incredible entries. We were blown away by the talent - we can't wait to announce the winners to our first Superdry Outerwear award at the Gala Show,' Siri said.

During Graduate Fashion Week, attendees can head down to the Superdry booth where we are hosting a number of industry expert seminars. There will be lots of great opportunities to meet our in-house teams from Design, Garment Technology, Merchandising, Category Management, Production & Sourcing, Creative Studio & the Superdry Sport team.
