Talktalk Telecom : Group enjoys 10 per cent Corporate revenue growth driven by huge data demand

TalkTalk Business remains one of the fastest growing B2B telecoms businesses in the UK
Reports 40% data revenue growth and customer base growth of 50%

TalkTalk Group today revealed impressive Corporate revenue growth year-on-year, driven by the strong demand for TalkTalk Business's competitively priced data products, which increased by 40 per cent.

FY15 has seen TalkTalk Business win several new contracts to supply Ethernet and Ethernet First Mile (EFM) connections, adding 9,000 new Ethernet and EFM lines, and taking its total base to over 26,000 - a year on year increase of over 50%.

In addition to strong revenue growth, TalkTalk Business launched its first marketing and advertising campaign for Business Broadband, aimed at providing SoHos and SMEs across the UK with unlimited business broadband for just £4 a month. It is a reflection of the company's commitment to making British businesses better off and will allow small businesses who take Business Broadband from TalkTalk Business to save up to £535 vs BT.

The provider also launched a free voice app, Talk2Go, delivering even further value to business broadband customers by enabling them to use existing fixed line minutes on their mobile free of charge, plus free app to app calls.

TalkTalk Business also announced today the acquisition of tIPicall who are a leading provider of next generation SIP trunking. TalkTalk Business has been an early adopter of SIP in the B2B market and this will complete our portfolio to offer wholesale SIP trunking. It will enable us to build on the strong growth of our data connectivity business to give increased value to our data customers through a converged voice offer driving even more adoption of VoIP for customers.
