Tokyo, Japan, January 7, 2015 --- The Teijin Group announced today that it will participate HeimTextil 2015, the world's largest home-textiles trade fair, in Frankfurt, Germany from January 14 to 17.

The Teijin booth (B-55, Hall 8.0), designed as a living space to showcase materials in real-life settings, will present a variety of products and solutions focused on comfort and ecology, including mattresses, comforters, pillows and other bedding items.

elk ® polyester cushioning material
- Teijin's elk is a lightweight, durable, cushiony and breathable material that serves as an excellent substitute for polyurethane in a range of cushioning applications, such as mattresses. It is also environmentally friendly because it does not generate cyanogen gas when incinerated.

SOLOTEX ® polytrimethylene terephthalate fiber
- Teijin will showcase comforters and pillows made with SOLOTEX , a polytrimethylene terephthalate fiber that is exceptionally soft, stretchable, shape-retaining and resilient. Partially bio-derived, SOLOTEX helps to conserve fossil resources.

Fiber-filling material
- Teijin will also present a variety of high-performance polyester fiber for filling, including the highly soft-feeling FWALINE and the ultra-light Aerotop , a polyester fiber that has nearly 50% hollow ratio.

Teijin will showcase these and other products and solutions in line with the company's ongoing global-business expansion.

HeimTextil, held every January, attracted about 70,000 visitors from 61 countries last year.
