Vienna, January 10, 2014: Dejan Turk, currently CEO of Telekom Austria Group´s Slovenian subsidiary Si.mobil, will be joining the management board of the Serbian mobile operator Vip mobile. He will take over the CEO and CMO position as of March 1, 2014.

Dejan Turk has been part of the Telekom Austria Group since 2004, when he became Marketing and Sales director of the Slovenian operator. In 2006 he took over the position of CMO and since 2007 he has been leading Si.mobil as CEO.

During this period, Si.mobil has gained a strong position as second largest mobile operator in Slovenia, with 30% market share. Si.mobil is recognized as one of the most successful Slovenian companies, one of the best employers in the country and one of the leading companies setting benchmarks in the area of corporate social responsibility. During Turk´s management of Si.mobil, its financial performance has continuously grown and has achieved stability, despite a challenging economic and political environment in Slovenia.

As of March 1, 2014, Turk will join Andreas Graf, CFO, and Dejan Kastelic, CTO, in the Republic of Serbia. Vip mobile is the third mobile operator in the Republic of Serbia, constantly increasing both the financial performance and customer base, reaching almost two million users and a market share of more than 21%.

Boštjan Škufca Zaveršek (CFO) will be interim CEO and together with Ulrich Rokita (CTO) will be leading Si.mobil until a new CEO will have been found.
