CEB (NYSE: CEB), the leading member-based advisory company, kicks off its five-year anniversary of organizing a global community impact event on May 11(th). As part of these efforts, the company is expanding its single day of service to an entire week of volunteer opportunities, sending thousands of dedicated volunteers to bring skills-based expertise and manual service to more than 80 organizations in 50 cities and 25 countries worldwide.

In Washington, D.C., approximately 1,000 CEB employees will donate five days of service to 15 charitable organizations that benefit capital area causes. These include service projects ranging from assembling bikes for children overseas, preparing and packing food for underprivileged families, refurbishing multiple YMCA locations, engaging in farm tasks for a community-based urban farm, and pro bono assistance to local nonprofits.

To celebrate its five-year milestone and show its appreciation for the work its employees put forth throughout the week, CEB will host a block party on Friday, May 15(th), complete with a live band and food trucks. The block party festivities are set to begin at 3:30 p.m. EST on North Kent Street, between 19(th) St. and Wilson Blvd., in Arlington, Va.
