More than 1,500 staff in 14 cities around the world will actively partner with service organizations that exhibit excellence in entrepreneurship, sustainable growth, social impact and innovation. In Washington, DC, more than 800 CEB staff, in partnership with City Year, will convene on the District of Columbia Public Schools Walker-Jones Education Campus to donate a day of service to transform the school environment to benefit 400 youth.

In DC, more than 800 CEB employees will
tackle more than 35 projects on the
Walker-Jones Education Campus during
a dedicated day of volunteer service
to make improvements to the facility
and in the lives of the students and
families it serves. CEB's Global
Service Day also serves to advance
City Year's mission to keep students
WHAT in school and on track to graduation.
CEB staff will work on projects ranging
from building a softball diamond,
constructing a green house made from
recycled bottles and benches on the
school's green roof, uprooting trees
and painting multiple murals around
the school campus.
The team will use:
50 gallons of paint 150 2x4's 200 cubic
feet of sand 400 paint brushes
Service in the community is a
