LONDON / MILAN - Thomson Reuters has announced a collaboration with CAD IT Group, Europe's leading developer of software programs for financial processes management, whereby intelligently linked Thomson Reuters pricing and reference data is made available through Area Finanza, CAD IT's flagship product. With feed from the Thomson Reuters DataScope Select platform, the 200,000 users of Area Finanza's securities trading and post-trading process management system can keep better track of their portfolios and their compliance with often-changing regulations.

Under the new arrangement, Area Finanza's users can access via an adapter preconfigured data fields from DataScope Select's comprehensive database, including reference, corporate actions, legal entities, as well as end-of-day and intra-day evaluated pricing content. Users can also configure customized rules, schedules and determine the frequencies of related updates, based on their specific workflow and process requirements.

'Thomson Reuters is committed to partnering with the market's leading service providers, ensuring market participants benefit from our exceptional content via multiple distribution arrangements, platforms and applications,' said Marion Leslie, managing director, Pricing, Reference & Regulatory Services at Thomson Reuters. 'Now, even more market practitioners can access our wealth of content to better assist them in processing their security holdings and in meeting their regulatory obligations.'

'Ensuring you have access to the latest data so you can stay on top of your holdings and ensure you are compliant is of paramount importance to our customers,' Giuseppe Dal Cortivo, Chairman and CEO of the CAD IT Group, said. 'This partnership allows CAD IT to build on the award-winning products and services we offer, ensuring that our customers have direct access to some of the very best pricing and reference data available in the market.'

Thomson Reuters DataScope Select is the strategic data delivery platform for non-streaming pricing and reference content globally. It covers static data and prices with global coverage and for multiple instrument types ranging from equities and exchange traded instruments to mutual funds, fixed income instruments and hard-to price and illiquid securities. Thomson Reuters DataScope Select continues to adapt to today's content and delivery requirements as they evolve in the marketplace.
