TOTAL MEDICAL SERVICE CO., LTD. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the operation of dispensing pharmacies. The Company operates in two business segments. The Dispensing Pharmacy segment is involved in the provision of dispensing services to general patients, on the basis of medical institution's prescriptions. The Medical Support segment is involved in the wholesale of medicine, as well as the provision of comprehensive outsourcing services related to medical, such as food service within hospital and welfare facilities. On December 1, 2011, the Company acquired a Japan-based company and its subsidiary. In August, the Company acquired 77.68% interests in a Tokyo-based company. On November 26, 2013, PHARMAHOLDINGS CO., LTD. acquired 98.96% stake in the Company and became its parent company.
