Global professional services company Towers Watson (NYSE, NASDAQ: TW) announced today that Patricia Guinn, managing director of its Risk and Financial Services (RFS) segment and member of the company’s Management Committee, will retire on June 30, 2015 after 39 years with the company. She plans to remain active in the insurance industry and actuarial/risk management profession.

“Over the course of my career with Towers Watson, I have had the opportunity to work with many talented professionals both within the company and at our client organizations,” said Guinn. “And it has been a privilege to shape and lead such a great business. There is much opportunity ahead for the RFS segment to help clients solve their most pressing issues and to provide our associates the chance to develop and reach their career goals. I have every confidence that the RFS leadership team is well positioned to take advantage of these opportunities and I wish all of my colleagues continued success.”

“We thank Tricia for her steadfast leadership and significant contributions to the growth of our company and the Risk and Financial Services segment,” said John Haley, chief executive officer, Towers Watson. “She has played a pivotal role in the establishment of our reputation as a premier adviser to the risk and insurance sectors globally. Tricia will work closely with me to ensure an orderly transition to her successor, who we expect to name early in the fourth quarter of our fiscal year. We are very confident about the prospects for this key segment in our portfolio.”
