The board (the "Board") of directors (the "Directors") of Trony Solar Holdings Company Limited (the "Company", together with its subsidiaries, the "Group") announces that Mr. Lee Pak Lap ("Mr. Lee") has been appointed as the Group Chief Financial Officer with effect from 22 August 2016.

Mr. Lee, aged 51, is mainly responsible for strengthening and implementing the Company's internal control and financial reporting systems. He has been an associate member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants since 1996. Mr. Lee has previous held senior financial positions with various listed companies in Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Malaysia and United States in managing finance and back office department, in the fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) and premium products and service businesses. He has over 25 years experience in areas such as audit, accounting, financial reporting, financial control, consultancy expertise in corporate governance and internal control. Mr. Lee graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University with the Professional Diploma in Accountancy in 1989.

The Board would like to take this opportunity to welcome Mr. Lee joining the Company.

At the request of the Company, trading in the shares of the Company on the Stock Exchange has been suspended from 9:00 a.m. on 21 June 2012 and will remain suspended until further notice.
