I was a single mom for a few years with four children, and I was able to support us with my Tupperware business.

I started with Tupperware in 1974. The reason was that we had two small children and I wanted to be home with them. I left a full time career as a dental assistant and continued selling Tupperware products. Then I had two more children. It's been a great business for us ever since. Our Tupperware business has helped us achieve self-confidence.

I used to have a hard time speaking in front of people. With the business, it's given me the opportunity to overcome that fear of public speaking. It's also given me the confidence to know that I can do what it takes to survive. I was a single mom for a few years with four children, and I was able to support us with my Tupperware business. We pride ourselves on having a wonderful organization of women who are willing to learn, grow, be friends and be mentors to each other. Seeing them expand their horizons and grow makes our hearts feel good because we played a part in what they're doing.

In Tupperware, or in any area of life, we want to try to make our family's lives better than what we had. Tupperware has given us the vehicle to be able to do that. The success that we've had with Tupperware has shown our family they can be entrepreneurs and still have a good life. It's also shown them that you don't have to have a regular job to live a good life.
