Şişecam Group has ranked among the top 100 in the world with its 2015 Annual Report as a result of the evaluation performed in ARC, one of the world's most prestigious annual report competitions.

29 December, 2016 - A global actor in all main areas of glass such as flat glass, glassware, glass packaging and glass fiber, as well as soda and chromium compounds, Şişecam Group has ranked among the top global 100 with its 2015 Annual Report as a result of the evaluation made in ARC Awards, one of the world's most prestigious annual report competitions held for the 30th time this year.

With its 2015 annual report, Şişecam had received the golden award in the "inner design" category at the Annual Report Competition (ARC). The competition is considered to be one of the most prestigious competitions in the field.

The competition which received 2100 applications in different categories from 34 countries is open to application by private and public companies. The winners are chosen as a result of the evaluation made in terms of creativity, innovation, clarity and efficacy. The preliminary elimination is performed by an independent jury consisting of experts in the fields of investor relations, writing, design and photography. The winners are determined following the evaluation by the senior managers of design companies, as well as agencies and institutions drafting annual reports.

The USA-based ARC Awards competition has been held since 1987 and is the world's only annual report competition that is not related to any publication or trade organization. The competition is open to a wide range of participants including both large-scale and medium-sized companies, governmental organizations, NGOs and annual report agencies, and aims to reward companies that publish creative and innovative annual reports, and to recognize their efforts at an international level.
