Veolia, partner of the 7thConvergences World Forum organised from 8th to 10th September at the Palais Brongniart and Paris City Hall, will participate in three days of exchanges around the theme of "Objective 2030: Building Tomorrow's World Together".

For the 4th year, Veolia is a partner of the Convergences World Forum, the first platform in Europe for exchanges and debates on the subject of the United Nations' development goals, bringing together more than 5000 participants.

In this 7th Forum, Veolia will be an active participant in debating ideas and discussing experiences about the necessity to implement a sustainable system of consumption and production.

For the first time, Veolia is joining together with 3 large companies - Unilever, Rexel and Crédit Agricole - to express their common vision on the essential role of the private sector in the implementation of post-2015 development objectives. This involves promoting the process of working together through concrete examples.

As Antoine Frérot, CEO Managing Director of Veolia, emphasises: "Our Business, deeply rooted in the regions, has taught us that room for new creativity emerge when different stakeholders work together to build concrete solutions. These are translated by the development of new models: moving towards an efficient circular economy, making more out of less, serving people without harming the environment".
