The works at the Bridge connecting the Mainlands with the Island of Čiovo have not stopped regardless of adverse weather conditions.

The Piers from S2 to S7 are completed while around Pier S7 there are still visible reinforced concrete rings which have served as protection during realization of works under the sea level.

At pier band S10 the reinforced concrete piles at the level of -20,00 meters were placed, and the reinforcing works and the works on concreting of 'foundations of pile head plates' were completed, all in circular protection of the foundation pit, of 25 meters diameter and at the excavation depth level of -8,5 meters. The length of steel sheet pile is 12 to 14 meters.

The foundations have been concreted and currently we are installing the boom crane and placing the formwork and the reinforcement at the pier band wall. After completion of all work stages at the wall, construction works at the engine room for lifting of the bridge are planned to be carried out what shall then be followed by installation of the hydraulic and electric power equipment of the engine room.

At pier band S11 excavation of foundations is in progress.

Steel span structure is fabricated in segments suitable for transport, in the workshops of several producers.

The reinforced concrete works at the retaining wall of the access road D126 at the side of the Čiovo Island are completed. Currently we are placing the wall stone cladding. Furthermore, the works at the access road D126 at the side of Čiovo Island and at the access road D315 at the mainlands side are currently in progress, what includes the works on the roundabouts.
