Gateway Plaza will cement itself as the Bellarine Peninsula's largest everyday shopping destination offering a fantastic array of new stores across fashion, health, beauty and wellbeing, homewares, fresh food and essential services.

Centre Manager Russell Yelland said: 'We are transforming Gateway Plaza to become the Peninsula's go-to destination for all of our shopper's everyday needs and we are looking forward to giving our customers an unrivalled and convenient retail experience close to home.'

In less than a month Gateway Plaza will welcome highly anticipated and much-loved retailers Kmart, Aldi and the Reject Shop that are all famous for offering fantastic products at low prices.

We are excited to announce that Gateway Plaza will introduce popular fashion brands perfect for the whole family. These include Bonds, Jeanswest, Ozmosis, Femme Connection and Williams.

'Currently many of our new brands and retailers are recruiting for team members so I encourage the local community who are keen for a new job or change of role to keep an eye on our retailers Facebook pages and online recruit hubs like Seek,' Russell added.

Currently undergoing an $85 million redevelopment, the centre will also boast eight health, beauty wellbeing stores offering customers a local day spa with Vitality Medispa catering for every beauty needs, healing massages, and nail specialists. A traditional barber, hairdresser, dentist and Anytime Fitness 24/7 gym will add to this impressive offer.

Customers will also be able to shop for the latest in homewares with Australian owned Matchbox, Better Home and In 2 Linen, who offer popular brands Logan & Mason, Florence Broadhurst and Royal Doulton all set to call Gateway Plaza home.

A local favourite, self-serve ice-cream and frozen yoghurt specialist Serendipity D'lites, Gateway Plaza Meats and Bakers Delight will be the centre's fresh food specialists with Coles and Aldi also offering fresh produce seven days a week.

Opening at 8am, Thursday the 23 March, Gateway Plaza on Leopold's Bellarine Highway will also be the one stop shop for essential services with the centre including Telstra, Australia Post, Mister Minit, GMHBA and the offices of Lisa Neville MP.

To cater for local families and to make shopping with little ones easier the centre's Town Square will be equipped with an interactive and child-friendly rope climbing structure, parents with prams parking and a new parents' room including a secure toddler play area, parents kitchenette, private feeding areas and a large baby change area.
