Senior Executive Appointment at Investment Manager

VietNam Holding Limited (AIM : VNH), an investment company with a diversified portfolio invested in Vietnamese equities, announces that further to the notification on August 13, 2014 regarding the appointment of Mr. Vu Quang Thinh as interim Managing Director of VietNam Holding Asset Management, Ltd. ("VNHAM"), the Company's Investment Manager, the Board of Directors of VNHAM has appointed Mr. Thinh as Chief Executive Officer of VNHAM with effect from January 5, 2015.

Mr. Thinh has been a member of the Board of Directors of VNHAM since March 17, 2014, p rior to which he was the CEO of VNHAM for more than two years. VNHAM and the Company have therefore benefited from his experience and expertise continuously since July 2011.

Commenting on the appointment, Mrs. Min Hwa Kupfer, Chairperson of VNH, said:  "We are very pleased that Mr. Thinh is resuming the position of CEO of VNHAM as this secures continuity in the portfolio management team and bodes well for the future success of the Company's fund."
