Villa World strengthens management team with appointment of new Chief Financial Officer

Leading residential property developer Villa World Limited has appointed Lorelei Nieves as as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Ms Nieves joined the Company in 2012 and has most recently been in the role of Financial Controller. Her promotion to the CFO role is consistent with Villa World's management succession planning, which included the recent elevation of Michael Vinodolac to the role of Chief Operating Officer.

Villa World Managing Director and CEO Craig Treasure said the Company would benefit from Ms Nieves elevation to its experienced and skilled leadership team.

"Lorelei's promotion to the role of CFO is testament to the technical skills, knowledge of the business and respect she has gained from her peers over many years with Villa World," Mr Treasure said.

"We are pleased to have Lorelei in the role of Chief Financial Officer and as part of the Villa World leadership team."

The leadership team also includes Company Secretary Brad Scale and well-regarded General Manager of Sales and Marketing, Robyn Valmadre.

"Villa World has developed a strong and supportive culture and the strength of this home-grown leadership team is a testament to that," Mr Treasure said.

Ms Nieves has more than a decade of accounting experience, with previous roles including Tax and Accounting and Advisory Manager at KPMG before transitioning to the commercial environment.

Mr Treasure thanked Brett Delaney who has been Villa World's Acting Chief Financial Officer since 3 July 2017.
