September 11th, 2011 marks the 10th anniversary of the tragic terrorist attack against the United States.

Vizrt, together with never.no and DigitalGlobe, have prepared for the global memorial and tribute to those who lost their lives that day by putting together a package of technologies to assist coverage of the World Trade Center, Lower Manhattan New York.

Vizrt and never.no have put together a special geo-enabled Twitter feed to create a map of Lower Manhattan that will animate to the location of each Tweet as they arrive.

Tweets are filtered through a moderation system to ensure quality and content; then picked up by Viz Engine using Viz World and DigitalGlobe imagery for on-air display.
