Vizrt Ltd. announced today a deal worth USD 391,000 for the implementation of a comprehensive broadcast graphics suite with a broadcaster in the UK. The broadcaster has been using Vizrt products throughout their production chain for many years. The new purchase provides the software needed to create a new studio that easily integrates with the broadcaster's existing workflow.
The deal includes a newsroom workflow that relies on Viz Pilot, Vizrt's content management and control system. The journalists in the newsroom easily edit graphics templates and create a playlists of events to be used live on air from within their newsroom control system (NRCS). Using Viz World, the journalists will also be able to create detailed animated 3D maps for anywhere in the world from within the Viz Pilot system in the NRCS.
In the control room, four Viz Engines will render graphics in real-time for use live on-air. The graphics are all part of the playlist in Viz Pilot. Designers will use Viz Artist to create new graphics and templates for daily show production.
