Call for Wavestone Foundation projects:
associations have until September 15th to submit their applications

On June 15, the Wavestone Foundation relaunches a call for projects to choose the associative projects in favor of disadvantaged children. The associations which need a helping hand to develop their projects have until September 15 to submit their projects.

More than 100 community projects for underprivileged children

The Wavestone Foundation supports since 2009 activities that help disadvantaged children, particularly those in situations of poverty or extreme deprivation, both in France and internationally. The Foundation finances the creation and development of programs to combat all forms of poverty, supports the development of preventive actions and helps design and develop education, training and health programs.

For its 2018/19 campaign, the Foundation chose to finance 14 new projects. Until today the Foundation has funded 107 projects, developed for 65 partner associations on 4 continents, in the field of education, health and social security.

A new call for projects launched until September 15, 2018

Building on the success of the 2017/18 edition, the Foundation is launching a new call for projects for its 2018/19 campaign. Associations that want to put forward a project have until midnight of September 15, 2018 to submit their application via the candidate platform (in French and English) supported by the Foundation's website: https://www.fondation-wavestone.com/en/your-project/

It is strongly recommended that associations ensure their projects respect the Foundation's principles and activities, these are set out on its website.

The Foundation supports community projects that operate within a framework of sustainable development. It therefore pays particular attention to the principles of sustainability and beneficiary autonomy when considering projects. Associations must be based in France or in a country where Wavestone has offices: Belgium, United States, Hong Kong, Luxembourg, Morocco, United Kingdom and Switzerland.

Applications will then be considered by a pre-selection committee which will gather in November and December 2018, and January and February 2019. The list of applications selected by the Board will be announced in spring 2019.
