Andrew Landry has put himself in position to accomplish something that has never before been done on the Web.com Tour.

Landry, whose three-under par 68 Sunday left him tied for the 54-hole lead in the Club Colombia Championship, can become the only player to win two of the first three tournaments to open a Web.com season. Current PGA Tour star Jimmy Walker won two of the first four in 2004.

The Port Neches-Groves ex, who stands at 11-under par 202 at Bogota Country Club, won the

last Web.com tourney two weeks ago in the Bahamas. Entering today's final round, he's tied with Brandon Hawkins, is one shot ahead of Aaron Wise and stands three strokes clear of four players at 205.

"After that first win of the year, I want to win more," he told Royce Thompson of PGA Tour.com. "Hopefully, I can get another win, or two more, and get out to the PGA Tour."

Landry, who had to come back early Saturday morning to play the final two holes of his second round, finished par-par for a 5-under 66 and was tied with Roberto Diaz at 134 at the halfway mark. He had opened the tourney with a bogey free 68 on Thursday.

After making the turn at one-under 34 on Saturday, Landry took the outright lead with an eagle 4 at 10 and a birdie 3 at 11. Back-to-back bogeys at 14 and 15 briefly knocked him out of the lead, but he rebounded with a birdie 3 at 15.

"It was tough out there today," Landry said. "The wind was up, pins were hard and the greens were fast. It was one of those days where I grinded it out. I didn't putt my best and just missed a bunch of short ones."

Two weeks ago Landry shot a closing 67 to win the Great Abaco Classic by three strokes. Dating back to the second round in the Great Abaco, Landry has shot 68-66-67-68-66-68.

Landry is no stranger to success in Colombia. He was this event two years ago in Cartegena for his first Web.com title.
