Wells Fargo Insurance, part of Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE: WFC), has named Kyle Samuel managing director for its Metro Washington D.C. and Virginia offices. Samuel will lead business development, client service and sales, and cross-sell for the company’s insurance operations across the regions. Based in Washington, D.C., he will report to Peter Gilbertson, regional managing director for Wells Fargo Insurance's North region.

Samuel joins Wells Fargo Insurance from Aon Risk Services where he was senior vice president and resident sales director for the capital region responsible for developing and managing insurance, risk management, and human capital strategies for upper middle market clients. Prior to working with Aon, he was commercial lines underwriter with Chubb Group of Insurance Companies.

Samuel has a bachelor’s of science degree in Economics from The Colorado College and is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC).

The Wells Fargo Insurance Metro Washington D.C. and Virginia region includes three offices and 100 team members who provide insurance services to Wells Fargo’s business banking, middle market and large corporate segments, along with high net worth customers, and other businesses in the region.
