Joe McFadden was a fantastic result for Strictly fans having started the final as the 8/11 odds on favourite.

William Hill were impressed by the new judging panel and it is a very short price at 1/3 that all four return next year. The big question that remains is whether Strictly introduce the first same gender partnership in 2018 - Hills are offering 6/4 that they do.

Paula Radcliffe is 5/1 to be a contestant in 2018, with Mike Tindall 8/1 and Louise Minchin 10/1.

'Strictly keeps getting better and it was another wonderful series,' said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams. 'We fully expect the judging panel to stay the same and there is a real chance we will see a same gender pairing next year.'
