Wincor Nixdorf's new checkout and shopping solutions will both significantly improve employee efficiency and reduce front-end operating costs. The latest innovations simply and securely provide the expediency and informed shopping experience customers have come to expect in a fast-paced and interconnected world.


One highlight of Wincor Nixdorf's showcase is the Wincor Wallet. This "electronic wallet" turns the smart phone into a wallet, forging the way in simple, secure and expedient retail-solutions. Compatible for cashless payments in all retail and service station sales channels, the Wallet integrates into the TP Application Suite and NAMOS and is suitable for all standard smart phones. In addition to processing traditional, card-based payments, the Wincor Wallet allows modern wallet transactions to be processed in an IT environment certified by the Payment Card Industry (PCI), which ensures the security of the cashless transactions.

In addition to the Wallet, attendees can expect to see Wincor Nixdorf's comprehensive, tablet-friendly "seamless retailing" application. Expanding on the already proven TP Application Suite, the Tablet POS now includes new software components based on innovative internet technologies, taking the checkout process mobile. The mobile solutions allows for real-time retrieval of supplementary information for employees on the floor, while cutting wait-time and long lines for customers.
For retailers looking to maximize the individual checkout process, Wincor has expanded its fully ADA II compliant portfolio of flexible and integrated automated checkout solutions. Presenting an "Always Open" checkout lane, Wincor Nixdorf's newest multi-functional system is a BEETLE /iSCAN EASY Hybrid that allowing an attendant to operate traditional checkout lanes, then instantly converting lanes into a self-checkout mode with a single click.
Wincor Nixdorf's efficient, transparent, and secure cash handling solutions bring automation and optimization to the cash-management process. Modular POS components, software and services combine to offer the advantages of a closed cash cycle. Notes are sorted and stored in intelligent cassettes right at the point of sale. A chip "memorizes" the cash holdings in every single cassette, eliminating the need for manual counting and re-checking. Cash is collected in a mobile drum module, transported securely to the cash office and automatically consolidated in the cash office. The result is an end-to-end, closed and secure process - from when cash is taken at the checkout to the cash-in-transit operator.
