PARSIPPANY, NJ--(Marketwired - May 26, 2016) - Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide (www.ogilvychww.com), the health behavior change specialists of Ogilvy & Mather (www.ogilvy.com), and a WPP company (NASDAQ: WPPGY) (www.wpp.com), today announced the expanded service offering within its Payer Marketing group that will serve the needs of pharmaceutical manufacturers in access support and reimbursement services.

Manufacturers often provide financial, reimbursement, and patient support services to assist patients (and their providers) in starting and staying on drug therapies. Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide's Payer Marketing group (comprising Ogilvy CommonHealth Payer Marketing, Ogilvy Healthworld Payer Marketing, and Ogilvy CommonHealth Market Access) has extensive experience and a strong heritage of branding and marketing communication that is focused on the payer segment. Now, the expanded Access Services practice will leverage Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide's consulting, strategy, analytics, and digital experts to help its clients, including:

  • Identification and evaluation of vendors that provide this service (either as a captive, in-house service provided by manufacturers or as an outsourced/private-label service for manufacturers)
  • Development of a brand identity for the access services program and integration of the identity with the overall product and/or corporate brands
  • Development of unified messaging that fortifies and differentiates the overall access services support offering
  • Ongoing measurement of performance utilizing data analytics, and feedback systems that refine product and service attributes in order to improve levels of patient, physician, and payer success

Michael Zilligen, president of both Ogilvy CommonHealth Payer Marketing and Ogilvy Healthworld Payer Marketing, explained the rationale for expanding the Access Services practice: "We are seeing the convergence of outcomes, cost efficiency, and patient experience (the Triple Aim) as primary drivers for most healthcare stakeholders. The resulting unmet need within our customer base provides the opportunity for Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide to leverage its reimbursement, digital, and analytics expertise to help our clients enhance their access services programs and more effectively compete in the evolving healthcare landscape."

Leading the expanded Access Services practice is Nora Tsivgas, senior vice president, access services strategy. Ms. Tsivgas has extensive access services and healthcare experience. Her pharmaceutical industry experience has spanned field sales, account management, commercial strategy, payer strategy, and outcomes research.

Prior to joining Ogilvy CommonHealth Payer Marketing, Ms. Tsivgas led the transition of the largest manufacturers' patient assistance program in the United States to a new partner/vendor that improved the program's capabilities and services. In that position, she also created the first-in-industry patient navigation platform designed to assist uninsured and underinsured patients gain access and coverage through the public health insurance exchanges. Ms. Tsivgas has also organized and led multi-stakeholder, health-focused coalitions in the public and private sectors, and is a recognized subject matter expert and speaker on access services, healthcare reform, value-based benefit design, payment reform, and healthcare quality improvement.
