Grass Roots, the world's leading provider of employee and customer engagement solutions, is delighted to announce the appointment of Zarin Patel as Chief Financial Officer. Patel will act as CFO for the global Grass Roots Group, sit on the Group Board and on the Executive Leadership Team.

Patel was the longest-serving CFO at the BBC and brings a wealth of experience to Grass Roots. She joined the organisation in 1998 and held various roles prior to her nine years as Chief Financial Officer. She had overall responsibility for the BBC Finance & Business division, sat on the BBC's Executive Board and was also a non-executive director of BBC Worldwide. Prior to her time with the BBC, she gained 15 years' experience with KPMG, at a senior level, working with multi-national corporations across the industrial and commercial sectors. She was also an Independent Governor at The University of Arts, London.

Patel is highly regarded as an innovator in her field and a creative thinker. With a reputation for transforming organisations, Grass Roots expects to benefit from her ability to balance needs for value, efficiencies and simple processes, whilst displaying imagination when it comes to investment opportunities and future-proofing the business in anticipation of rapid growth.
