- Maxus UK has today announced the appointment of Alex Debenham-Burton as its new head of video.

Debenham-Burton joins from MediaCom where he was head of media buying. Burton joined MediaCom in 1999 and has worked across clients such as Sky, Coca Cola, Direct Line Group and Allianz.

In 2009 Debenham-Burton was appointed Group Investment Director, running one of three investment groups before being appointed head of the buying and commercial arm of MediaCom's Investment floor in 2012. As head of media buying, he was responsible for 50 staff across all media buying disciplines both on and offline.

In his new role at Maxus, Debenham-Burton will be responsible for Maxus' video offering and investment across the agency. He will be working across all the Maxus client teams and managing a team of 30 people.

Debenham-Burton will report into Maxus managing partner John Maloney.
