Regulatory News:

XIRING (Paris:ALXIR), a security solutions provider for remote transactions, today announced the strengthening of its innovation policy by joining the global enterprise cluster SYSTEM@TIC, as part of the Thématique Sécurité & Défense Group, and TES cluster (Transactions Électroniques Sécurisées).

Innovation is one of XIRING's core values and the expertise of XIRING's engineers and their ability to come up with pioneering new technologies that shape the future of remote transaction security, led the company to join SYSTEM@TIC and TES enterprise clusters. These clusters bring together key industry players to work on common projects collaboratively.

Within the SYSTEM@TIC's Thématique Sécurité & Défense group, XIRING is making an active contribution to the R&D project FC² (Fédération des Cercles de Confiance). The FC² project aims to develop an end to end platform that will enable the secure development of new electronic services, based on transparent and federated identity management. This requires setting up a dedicated infrastructure for service providers, together with the provision of strong authentication services and privacy management. The solution must also guarantee a high level of protection from attacks against digital identity, along with ease of use, trust and multiple user applications.

The partnership with the SYSTEM@TIC and TES allows XIRING to:

  • develop its position within the industry and research sectors and benefit from the network created by the two clusters;
  • create synergies between a number of fields of expertise and thereby gain access to technical know-how in the Paris region and all over France;
  • benefit from support for small and medium enterprises provided by the AMBITION PME programme, managed by the SYSTEM@TIC cluster in partnership with the Paris-Ile-de-France Chamber of Commerce and Opticsvalley, with support from the French government and the Paris regional authorities;
  • benefit from the specific support services for SMEs offered by the TES cluster.

In exchange, XIRING offers the SYSTEM@TIC and TES enterprise clusters:

  • its contribution to joint R&D projects, particularly those involved in digital trust, owing to its expertise in the field of strong authentication applied to electronic identity management;
  • its participation in think tanks for new technologies leading to the creation of new electronic services that will ensure both ease of use and respect of privacy.

Georges Liberman, CEO of XIRING, commented: ?Joining the SYSTEM@TIC and TES enterprise clusters is a key step in XIRING's R&D policy. Our contribution to SYSTEM@TIC's Thématique Sécurité & Défense group through R&D programmes involves us in technology projects for tomorrow and will ensure XIRING's future positioning. Building trust and protecting private information relating to identity management are key factors in the development of the digital economy.?
