Where capitalised terms are used in this announcement and not otherwise defined, such capitalised terms shall bear the same meanings as ascribed to them in the announcement made by Yongnam Holdings Limited (the "Company") on 5 October 2017 and 16 October 2017 relating to the Proposed Placement.

The Board of Directors is pleased to announce that the Proposed Placement has been completed today, pursuant to which 47,500,000 Placement Shares were allotted and issued, and the issued share capital of the Company has increased by 47,500,000 Shares (the "Shares Allotment").

Following completion of the Proposed Placement, the total number of issued Shares of the Company has increased from 475,102,931 Shares to 522,602,931 Shares and the issue and paid-up share capital of the Company has increased from S$129,667,317 to S$141,473,767 upon the Shares Allotment. The 47,500,000 Placement Shares shall be issued free from all claims, charges, liens, and other encumbrances and shall rank pari passu in all respects with the existing issued Shares at the time of issue, except for any dividends, rights, distributions, allotments or other entitlements, the record date for which falls before the date of this announcement.

The 47,500,000 Placement Shares are expected to be listed and quoted on the Mainboard of the SGX-ST from 9.00 a.m. on 20 October 2017. Shareholders should note that the approval in-principle by the SGX-ST is not to be taken as an indication of the merits of the Proposed Placement, the Placement Shares, the Company and/or its subsidiaries, and their securities.
