Zensar reports Q-o-Q growth of 3.8% in dollar revenue

US market fuels growth

Zensar Technologies Ltd has reported excellent revenue growth in the quarter ended June 30, 2014.

During the quarter Zensar reported dollar revenue growth quarter on quarter of 3.8% from 97.55 USD Mn to 101.29 USD Mn, and year on year growth of 6.6% from 95.04 USD Mn to 101.29 USD Mn.

The company reported quarter on quarter rupee revenue growth of 0.4% from Rs 602.54 crore to Rs 604.78 crore, and year on year growth of 13.8% from Rs 531.28 crore to Rs 604.78 crore. The PAT growth quarter on quarter is 1.3% from Rs 55.25 crore to Rs 55.96 crore. The profit before tax quarter on quarter growth was reported at 8.6% from Rs 71.48 crore to Rs 77.59 crore.

Dr Ganesh Natarajan, Vice Chairman and MD of the Company said, "The financial year 2014-15 has begun with a good quarter for Zensar. The company has booked and executed excellent business in both applications and infrastructure services in key markets. Many of our new services including Digital Transformation and Total Infrastructure Outsourcing services have received encouraging response from existing and new customers."

S Balasubramanian, Chief Financial Officer said, "It has been a significant quarter for Zensar with the company clocking revenues in excess of 100 Mn USD. With the economies reviving worldwide, Zensar is well positioned to capture significant market share."

The company reported the addition of 12 new significant clients and 103 new employees this quarter.

  • Core back-end software testing for a significant specialist in the insurance business
