The private company is based in Bodaybo, Russian Federation. Krasny was acquired by GV Gold PJSC from Kopy Goldfields AB on August 13, 2014 for $8 million.

The Group's principal activities are: oil production, development of oil fields and oil exploration in Russia. The Group develops existing oil fields by investing in exploration and improving existing infrastructure.

Vostok Gas Ltd. (Vostok) (ST: VGAS) is an investment company focused on the Russian gas industry, and as of 2009 in liquidation. Previously known as Vostok Nafta Investment Ltd., Vostok was incorporated in Bermuda in 1996 and is based in Stockholm. The company's shareholders are Swedish and international institutions, as well as Swedish private individuals. The founding Lundin family holds a significant minority interest. Vostok's investment activities are carried out in the international arena through Bermudan, Cypriot and Swedish group entities. Managing the group's interest in Gazprom became the main purpose of Vostok in 2007. The company owns close to one and a half percent of the Gazprom shares. Gazprom controls a significant part of the world's known gas reserves. Vostok's non-Gazprom assets were spun off into a Bermuda-domiciled company known as Vostok Nafta Investment Ltd., also part of the Vostok Nafta Group. Both companies are managed by the same investment management team.
