National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) is the Government of Ireland’s investment management subsidiary which was established in 1990 to borrow for the Exchequer and to manage the National Debt on behalf of and subject to the control and general superintendence of the Minister for Finance. Headquartered in Dublin, NTMA provides asset and liability management services for the Irish Government including managing the State Claims Agency, New Economy and Recovery Authority, the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund, and the National Development Finance Agency.
