Shares of Paramount Global added to their gains for the week, in anticipation of a bidding war between a consortium comprised of Wall Street investment firm Apollo Global Management and rival Hollywood studio Sony Pictures and another major studio, the Larry Ellison-affiliated Skydance Media.
