Warner Bros Discovery shares rose sharply. Walt Disney raised some ticket prices at its theme parks as the entertainment conglomerate looks to make more money from its parks division amid softness in its linear TV business and challenges in its shift to streaming.

Ericsson shares dropped after the Swedish telecom-equipment giant took a $2.9 billion writedown on the value of assets acquired during its buyout of U.S. voice-over-internet-protocol company Vonage.

IMAX China Holding was volatile after shareholders rejected a $124 million buyout proposal.
