The French Defence Procurement Agency (DGA) has taken delivery of the two-seat Rafales ' B364 ' and ' B363 ' at the Dassault Aviation site in Mérignac (Gironde), announces the French Ministry of the Armed Forces.

The first Rafales to be delivered in 2024, the ' B364 ' and ' B363 ' are the 13th and 14th of a batch of 40 aircraft (tranche 4T2), all of which will be delivered by the end of 2025. A further 13 Rafale deliveries are scheduled for 2024.

At the end of 2023, Dassault Aviation, Thales, Safran and MBDA were notified of an order for the 5th production tranche of the Rafale program. It includes the production of 42 single-seat aircraft for the French Air Force and Space Ministry, with the first deliveries scheduled to start in 2027.

Since 1993, 234 Rafales have been ordered by the DGA from the Rafale economic interest group (comprising Dassault Aviation, Safran and Thales), of which 166 have been delivered to date.
