The Faurecia rumor is confirmed. Faurecia will acquire Clarion from Hitachi to strengthen its in-flight entertainment offer. This company generated $1.60 billion in revenues over the last financial year. The buyback would cost approximately $1.25 billion (including 5.7 times EBITDA at 31 March 2018 synergies).

Wingtech Technology Co. The little-known Chinese company that styles itself one of the world’s biggest smartphone manufacturers is acquiring Dutch chipmaker Nexperia for 25.2 billion yuan ($3.6 billion).
