Russian tanks shelled the Zaporizhia plant earlier today, causing a fire that has since been extinguished. The nuclear safety was not affected, the Ukrainian authorities and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said.

Today, investors will keep an eye on the employment figures in the United States, due in the early afternoon.

In other news, the London Stock Exchange announced the suspension of the trading of stock listings of several Russian-based companies, including Magnit and Sistema.
