(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers on AIM in London on Wednesday.

----------

AIM - WINNERS

----------

Bradda Head Lithium Ltd, up 11% at 1.61 pence, 12-month range 1.40p-7.50p. The North America-focused lithium firm hails favourable results from a geophysical survey at its Basin clay project in Arizona. "Results and location of gravity low have been interpreted to represent thicker clay beds, in both the upper and lower clay sequences - potentially substantially thicker than the previous reported lithium-in-clay intersections," Bradda Head said.

----------

Nichols PLC, up 5.1% at 1,020.25 pence, 12-month range 882.00p-1,520.00p. Panmure Gordon kicks off coverage of the soft drink manufacturer with a 'buy' recommendation and 1,260p price target. Nichols owns the Vimto brand.

----------

AIM - LOSERS

----------

Empyrean Energy PLC, down 20% at 0.35p, 12-month range 0.26p-1.60p. Shares return a chunk of the 40% jump registered on Tuesday. The oil and gas explorer, with projects in China, Indonesia and the US, said Tuesday it raised GBP700,000 through the placing of 280.0 million new shares at a price of 0.25p each. Empyrean says that the proceeds will go towards ongoing prospect, licencing and permit costs at Block 29/11, an oil project located in the Pearl River Mouth basin, offshore China.
