SÃO PAULO--B3 SA - Brasil, Bolsa, Balcão's shares rose 3.9% after the Brazilian stock market operator reported positive June operating figures.

Shares reached 14.47 reais, the equivalent of $3.02, and are up 5.5% from the end of last year through Tuesday's close. Brazil's benchmark Ibovespa stocks index was upp 1.1% in mid-morning trading.

B3 said Tuesday evening that equities volumes rose 6.3% from a year earlier, and that fixed-income issuances increased 12% over the same period.

The figures showed a continued recovery in its trading volumes, XP Investimentos analysts said in a research note. The June figures are slightly positive, given Brazil's challenging economic conditions at the moment, and if the positive trend continues, that could be a trigger for a share price rise, the analysts said.
