WASHINGTON, April 16 (Reuters) - The United States has seen steady progress in the amount of aid that goes into Gaza, the U.S. State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said on Tuesday, but that it was still not at the desired level and Washington was working to improve that.

Speaking at a daily briefing, Miller also said Washington was yet to be briefed in detail on details for the evacuation of civilians from Rafah or humanitarian considerations ahead of a possible Israeli military offensive on the southern Gazan city.
