MOSCOW, Feb 3 (Reuters) - A fire was extinguished at Russia's Volgograd oil refinery on Saturday following a drone attack, local authorities said.

It was the latest in a series of such incidents on Russian energy infrastructure in the past month.

Volgograd governor, Andrey Bocharov, said on the local administration's Telegram channel that there were no casualties from the incident.

Oil producer Lukoil, which owns the refinery, has not immediately replied to a request for comment. (Reporting by Vladimir Soldatkin; Editing by Jacqueline Wong)
