Export inspections for U.S. corn and soybeans are down from the previous week, according to the latest weekly report from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
In its latest report, the USDA said that for the week ended April 11, corn export inspections totaled 1.33 million metric tons, while soybeans totaled 432,905 tons. Both are down from the previous week, with corn in last week's report totaling 1.44 million tons and soybeans totaling 491,872 tons.
Meanwhile, wheat inspections totaled 551,278 tons for the week, which is up from 516,835 tons in the previous week.
China was the leading destination for both U.S. wheat and soybean shipments for the week, totaling 195,145 tons of wheat and 199,826 tons of soybeans. Mexico was the leading destination for U.S. corn at 429,870 tons.
CBOT grains are down across the board, with most-active corn down 1.2%, soybeans are down 1.2%, and wheat is down 1.4%.
