(Alliance News) - The board of directors of Centrale del Latte d'Italia Spa on Tuesday announced the approval of the financial report for fiscal year 2023, which closed with a net profit for the year of EUR2.96 million, compared to the net profit of EUR154,000 recorded in the previous year.

CLI closes FY2023 with revenues of EUR333.9 million, up 8.1 percent from EUR309 million in FY2022, due to the combined effect of organic growth and better sales conditions compared to the previous year.

Ebitda stands at EUR25.2 million, a marked improvement of 27.2 percent from EUR19.8 million in FY2022, due to the company's ability to achieve improved conditions in the supply chain.

Ebit is positive at EUR8.7 million, a sharp increase of 225.1% from the previous year's figure of EUR2.7 million.

The Net Financial Position improved significantly by about EUR17.2 million: it went from a liability of EUR58.7 million in 2022 to minus EUR41.5 million at the end of fiscal year 2023 due mainly to the company's ability to generate cash from operations.

Centrale del Latte d'Italia closed Monday's session in the green by 1.3 percent at EUR3.14 per share.
