Sept 13 (Reuters) - British bookmaker 888 Holdings said on Wednesday it has appointed Sean Wilkins as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), replacing Yariv Dafna.

The group's chief strategy officer Vaughan Lewis will assume the role of finance chief on an interim basis from October until Wilkins joins as CFO in February, the company added in a statement.

Wilkins held the role of CFO at Superbet, an omni-channel betting and gaming business with operations in Romania, Poland, Serbia and Belgium.

888 Holdings, which owns 888casino, 888poker, and 888sport among other brands, named Per Widerström as its new CEO in July, shrugging off shareholder FS Gaming's call to appoint its candidates to top roles.

Last month, 888 said it expects annual revenue decline to be at the top end of its forecast low-to-mid-single-digit range on a slow recovery in the Middle East.
