(Alliance News) - Aeffe Spa announced Monday that as part of the new direction of its subsidiary Moschino Spa, Jeremy Scott is leaving the role of creative director, which he had held since October 2013.

"In view of the expiration of Jeremy Scott's collaboration contract, Moschino has agreed with the designer on a new development path for the brand, which has significantly increased its distinctiveness and visibility internationally over the past 10 years," the company explained in a note.

Massimo Ferretti, executive chairman of Aeffe, commented, "I am lucky to have had the opportunity to work with a creative force such as Jeremy Scott. I want to thank him for his decades-long commitment to the Maison Moschino and for launching a distinctive and joyful vision that will forever be part of Moschino's history."

Effective April 2023, Moschino's in-house style department will take over the creative direction of the Maison.

Aeffe on Monday closed in greende 3.1 percent at EUR1.15 per share.
